Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus Willd) root extract for postpartum lactation: A randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study.

RCT · 120 postpartum women/113 per protocol · 72 hours

Preparation and dose
Shatavari root extract, 300 mg twice daily.
Finding
The study reported earlier breast fullness, more expressed milk at 72 hours and higher maternal satisfaction.
