About Shilajit formulations

Shilajit is a purified mineral pitch used in Ayurveda as a rasayana for strength, stamina and metabolic resilience.

Only the resin below is a single-ingredient Shilajit product. The Vati and the capsules are three-ingredient formulations that also contain Amalaki and purified Guggulu, so they are not interchangeable with purified resin.

Clinical evaluation of purified Shilajit on testosterone levels in healthy volunteers.

Double-blind placebo RCT · healthy men aged 45–55 · 90 days

Preparation and dose
Purified single-ingredient Shilajit, 250 mg twice daily.
Finding
The purified-Shilajit group had higher total/free testosterone and DHEAS than placebo/baseline.
