Research Highlights
Purified Shilajit and Testosterone Levels
Double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial · Healthy men aged 45–55 years · 90 days
Preparation and Dose
Participants received 250 mg of purified Shilajit twice daily for 90 days.
Finding
The study reported increases in total testosterone, free testosterone and DHEAS in the purified Shilajit group compared with placebo and baseline measurements.
The study used purified single-ingredient Shilajit, not this three-ingredient Shilajit Vati. Therefore, the findings should not be interpreted as direct clinical evidence for this specific formulation. (Chakrapani Ayurveda)
