Overview
Ksheerbala Taila is a classical Ayurvedic oil prepared using Bala, Ksheera (cow’s milk) and Tila Taila (sesame oil). It is traditionally used for general strength and nourishment and is particularly associated with Vata disorders and neuromuscular conditions.
Traditional Ayurvedic Perspective
Ksheerbala Taila is traditionally considered a Vata pacifying, Brimhana and Balya oil. Bala provides strengthening and nourishing properties, while Ksheera and Tila Taila support the Snigdha and Vata-shamaka nature of the formulation.
It is traditionally used in Abhyanga, Basti, Shirodhara and other external Ayurvedic procedures, particularly where Vata aggravation, weakness and neuromuscular discomfort are present.
