Overview
Dashang Guggulu Vati brings together Guggulu, Triphala, Trikatu and additional digestive and metabolic herbs. In Ayurveda, this combination is traditionally valued for supporting Agni, Meda metabolism and healthy Kapha balance.
It is also traditionally used in Vata – Kapha associated musculoskeletal complaints, particularly where stiffness, heaviness and impaired metabolism are considered contributing factors.
Traditional Ayurvedic Perspective
Dashang Guggulu is described in the Ayurvedic tradition particularly in relation to Medoroga, where excess Meda and Kapha are associated with impaired metabolic function. Its Deepana, Pachana and Lekhana-oriented ingredients are traditionally used to support healthy metabolic processing.
Guggulu and the warming digestive herbs also give the formulation a traditional role in Vata-Kapha related musculoskeletal conditions.
