Overview

Sanshamani Vati combines three well-known Ayurvedic herbs Guduchi, Musta and Pippali with Guduchi decoction used to further fortify the preparation.

The formulation is traditionally used when digestive strength and recovery need support, particularly in recurrent or lingering feverish states. Its ingredients are also valued for supporting healthy metabolism and digestion.

Traditional Ayurvedic Perspective

In Ayurveda, Sanshamani Vati is associated with Jwara management, Agni and Tridosha balance. Guduchi is traditionally valued for its Rasayana and Jvaraghna properties, while Musta and Pippali support digestion and metabolism.

The formulation is traditionally selected according to the nature of the condition, digestive strength and the individual’s overall state rather than simply based on the presence of fever.
