Research Highlights
Yograj Guggulu in Knee Osteoarthritis
Open-label, multicentre, single-arm clinical study · 483 adults · 12 weeks
Preparation and Dose
Participants received Yograj Guggulu 1 g twice daily after meals, together with Ashwagandha Churna and local application of Narayana Taila.
Finding
The study reported significant improvements in WOMAC scores, pain scores and other symptoms of knee osteoarthritis over the study period. No adverse events were reported, and the interventions were described as well tolerated. (PubMed)
Importantly, the study evaluated Yograj Guggulu together with Ashwagandha Churna and Narayana Taila, rather than Yograj Guggulu alone. The results therefore should not be interpreted as proof that this Vati by itself produces the same effects.
